The lunch discovery app raised £2m from Martin Robinson and angel investors to fund technology development and marketing expansion.
nez operates a food and drink discovery application in London that connects users with local lunch offers. The platform provides merchants with promotional support, targeted marketing and data insights.
London-based lunch discovery application nez has secured £2m in a Series A funding round. The investment comes from hospitality figure Martin Robinson alongside angel investors, bringing the company's total funding to £3m since it was founded in 2016.
The capital will be deployed to expand marketing campaigns, advance the platform's technology and data capabilities, and further develop its employee benefits offering known as nez perks. The firm currently works with over 330 partners across central London and plans to scale its operations further.
The latest financing follows significant user growth for the application, which has recorded over 385,000 redemptions across 150,000 users. Management anticipates reaching 200,000 users by the end of September.
Investor perspective
"We believe nez’s offering is truly unique in the industry, and is a breath of fresh air in terms of their marketing opportunity for their partners. We are looking forward to embarking on this journey with the brand and continuing to watch its exceptional growth."
