Netomnia secures £295m Series C investment led by DigitalBridge to expand fibre infrastructure
The funding round was led by DigitalBridge with follow-on commitments from Soho Square Capital and Advencap.
Netomnia is a UK broadband provider that builds full fibre networks to deliver multi gigabit internet services to homes and businesses.
Full fibre broadband provider Netomnia has secured £295m in a Series C funding round led by DigitalBridge. The investment includes participation from existing shareholders Soho Square Capital and Advencap.
The capital will support the company as it works towards its target of reaching one million premises passed over the next two years. Netomnia has already passed more than 130,000 properties since its rollout commenced in 2020, relying on partnerships with major construction firms to scale its operations.
The transaction is anticipated to close in the second quarter of 2022, subject to customary regulatory conditions and approvals.
