Net Purpose raises £10m in Series A funding led by ETF Partners to expand its team and product offerings.
The funding round was led by ETF Partners with participation from new and existing investors to support platform expansion.
Net Purpose operates an independent data platform that provides environmental and social performance metrics for sustainable investors. The company supplies investment grade datasets across climate and social themes to support portfolio management.
Net Purpose has secured £10m in a Series A funding round led by ETF Partners, with participation from M-Tech Capital and Exceptional Ventures. Existing backers including Jim O'Neill, Kevin Gould, the Louis Family, Illuminate Financial, and Revent also increased their commitments to the business.
The capital will be directed towards expanding the company product suite and growing its team. The platform currently provides performance metrics for close to $50bn in sustainable funds.
The financing follows a period of expansion for the platform, which aims to replace reliance on traditional ESG ratings with verifiable impact data.
