Navenio provides indoor location technology and task allocation software that streamlines patient care logistics and workforce efficiency in healthcare environments. The Oxford University spinout develops solutions using smartphone sensors to deliver real-time operational insights.
Navenio has secured £400k in grant funding from Innovate UK and UK Research and Innovation to address the operational strain of COVID-19 on hospitals. The capital will support the automation of map processing to accelerate deployment speeds, expand software functionality for cleaning and infection control, and provide analytics on resource utilisation across healthcare systems. The funding allows the company to build on its indoor location platform, which relies on smartphone data to help hospitals manage increased demands and staff shortages during the pandemic.
