Naurt builds a high-precision, beacon-free tracking toolkit designed to overcome the limitations of standard GPS technology. The Brighton-based firm provides a hardware-agnostic API with applications across industries ranging from tourism to telecommunications.

Brighton-based tracking technology firm Naurt has secured £500k in pre-seed funding to support its operational expansion. The round was oversubscribed by 145% as investors backed the company to develop its high-precision location toolkit.

Chief executive Jack Maddalena intends to deploy the new capital to broaden the firm's customer base. The company currently employs a staff of seven and serves enterprise clients including Tui, Sofology, and Etisalat.
