Naturbeads has secured £7.8m in Series A financing to scale up its production capacity and construct its inaugural manufacturing facility in Italy. Eos Advisory spearheaded the investment syndicate, which included participation from Progress Tech Transfer, CDP Venture Capital, and Paragon Capital Management.
The Bath-based enterprise has developed proprietary cellulose microsphere technology designed to substitute plastic microbeads across cosmetics, paints, and packaging. With impending European regulations targeting microplastics, the company intends to meet rising commercial demand and hit upcoming milestones.
