Myndr operates a digital mental health platform that connects leaders and employees through peer to peer support. The organisation focuses on providing accessible tools for individuals navigating common psychological challenges.

Newcastle based wellness platform Myndr has secured £300k in grant funding from Innovate UK. The capital will support the development of the company digital architecture and the expansion of its team.

The backing follows a competitive selection process involving over 1800 applicants. Myndr plans to deploy the proceeds into building out its artificial intelligence assisted application over the coming year.

The injection of capital arrives alongside commercial trials with Home Group and recent accolades for the founders. The business aims to broaden its reach among UK employees seeking anonymous mental health resources.

From the founder

"We’re incredibly honoured and proud to have received this grant. Most of the funds will be used towards further development and content for the app as we have high expectations to deliver a platform that is contextually smart as well as impactful with practical, actionable steps and content."
