MyLife Digital has secured £2m in funding from BGF to accelerate the rollout of its digital platform. The Wiltshire-based company focuses on facilitating the consensual sharing of personal and professional data between individuals and organisations, with initial deployments planned across the healthcare, government, sport, and not-for-profit sectors.
The capital will support the firm's growth and development as it enables agencies to better protect vulnerable people and re-establish trust in data usage. BGF provided the investment as part of its strategy to back small and mid-sized UK businesses, with investor James Austin joining the company board following the transaction.
From the founder
"People recognise the value of their personal data but they also have concerns around privacy. They are more likely to engage with organisations if they feel in control of how their data is being used and know that they are genuinely benefiting from an organisation being able to analyse that data."

CEO at MyLife Digital
