Muso provides digital piracy tracking technology and audience insights for the media, gaming and live broadcast sectors. The firm monitors unlicensed content consumption to help rights holders and advertisers understand market demand.

Digital anti-piracy specialist Muso has secured £3.5m in funding to support commercial expansion. The capital comes from Harwell Capital, extending a previous Series A round from 2017.

The fresh injection of funds will be directed towards growing sales and marketing operations. Muso intends to use the backing to deepen its presence across the digital media, gaming and live broadcast markets.

The company's technology monitors and removes unlicensed digital content while capturing audience data from piracy networks. Its analytics are utilised by major entertainment and sports organisations to measure global content consumption and demand.
