Multiverse builds an alternative to university education by offering professional apprenticeships that bridge digital skills gaps. The organisation provides structured training programmes combined with on-the-job experience.

Multiverse has secured £96m in Series C funding to support its expansion across the UK and the US. The investment round was led by D1 Capital Partners and BOND, alongside participation from existing backers including General Catalyst, GV, Index Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The apprenticeship provider has experienced rapid revenue growth and now trains thousands of tech and digital apprentices for major employers. Fresh capital will be deployed to launch new qualifications, including a bachelor's degree programme in data analytics and data science.

This latest raise follows a busy period of international growth for the firm, which opened a US headquarters in New York and achieved top grades from education inspectors. The company continues to focus on widening access to professional careers through structured workplace training.
