Moonbug Entertainment raises £91.7m Series B investment led by Goldman Sachs and Fertitta Capital to fund growth and acquisitions.
Moonbug Entertainment is a global digital media company that acquires and develops children's intellectual property for worldwide distribution. The firm manages a large portfolio of educational programming across streaming platforms and video networks.
Moonbug Entertainment has secured a Series B funding round of ninety-one million seven hundred thousand pounds to accelerate its expansion and strategic acquisitions. The financing was led by Goldman Sachs Growth Equity and Fertitta Capital, with participation from returning backers The Raine Group and Felix Capital. The capital will support the company as it scales its portfolio of children's media brands globally.
The investment coincides with the company's acquisition of popular YouTube properties CoComelon and Blippi, a move designed to cement its position in digital kids entertainment. Moonbug plans to utilise the fresh capital to drive further content development, merchandise licensing, and international platform distribution.
