Monolith AI provides artificial intelligence engineering software that allows design and engineering teams to optimise product development. The company enables clients to utilise test and simulation data to predict design performance.
Monolith AI has secured £8.5m in Series A funding to expand its international client base and advance its machine learning technology. The round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing backers Pentech and Touchstone. Additional investors include Alejandro Agag, Apex Black, and the Stanford Angels of the UK.
The company develops artificial intelligence engineering software designed to help manufacturing and engineering organisations accelerate product development. Clients utilising the platform include major industrial firms such as BMW, Honda, Siemens, and BAE Systems.
Insight Partners managing director Josh Fredberg will join the board following the investment. The capital will support the firm as it scales operations and continues the development of its 3D machine learning tools.
