The Series A round was led by American Express Ventures with backing from Nauta Capital and United Ventures.
MishiPay provides a mobile self-checkout technology that allows shoppers to scan and pay for items using their smartphones. The system integrates quickly into existing retail infrastructure to reduce queues and improve store efficiency.
MishiPay has secured £3.5m in a Series A funding round led by American Express Ventures, with participation from Nauta Capital and United Ventures. The company plans to use the capital to support its expansion across Europe and into the US market, while scaling its mobile self-checkout technology for large retailers.
The platform enables shoppers to scan and pay for goods using their mobile phones, allowing them to bypass traditional checkout queues. Major European retailers such as Decathlon and MediaMarktSaturn already utilise the service to improve customer flow and reduce checkout times in store.
