London-based educational technology platform Mindstone has secured £1.5m through a crowdfunding campaign hosted on Seedrs. The raise stands as the largest edtech crowdfunding effort on the platform to date and brings the company's total recent funding to £1.6m. Backers in the round include Mattias Ljungman, Eamonn Carey, Zanichelli Venture, US VC Scout Fund, and Andrew Gault. The capital will be directed towards mobile development, research, recruitment, and commercial partnerships.

Founded in 2020 by Joshua Wohle, the company operates a platform that lets experts build courses from podcasts, articles, and videos. Mindstone recently signed a commercial partnership with Harvard Business Review to integrate its tools into the publisher's digital offerings.
