MindSpire raises £850k in pre-seed funding led by SFC Capital to launch its debut wearable device
The pre-seed round was led by SFC Capital with participation from SyndicateRoom and Innovate UK.
MindSpire develops a medical-grade wearable device and adaptive platform designed to regulate stress and enhance cognitive performance using targeted vagus nerve stimulation and artificial intelligence.
MindSpire has secured £850k in pre-seed funding to finalise and launch its flagship wearable device, SONA. The round was led by SFC Capital, with additional backing from SyndicateRoom and Innovate UK. Based at the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering, the neurotechnology start-up aims to make advanced nervous system care accessible for both high performers and individuals managing chronic conditions.
The capital will support the commercialisation of SONA alongside ongoing research into relieving chronic stress, anxiety, and burnout. MindSpire combines vagus nerve stimulation with real-time biometric sensing to help users optimise mental states and improve resilience.
