The Series A round was led by Khosla Ventures with backing from Episode 1 and Entrepreneur First.
Mimica provides process intelligence technology that captures real world workflows to help enterprises deploy AI agents. Its platform converts repetitive tasks into process maps designed to train automation tools.
Mimica has secured six million dollars in Series A financing led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from previous backers Entrepreneur First and Episode 1. The fresh capital will allow the software firm to expand its headcount significantly over the next two years, establish a commercial presence in the United States, and deepen its research and development initiatives. The company currently develops process discovery tools that help major enterprises identify and automate routine tasks.
Founded in 2017 by Tuhin Chakraborty and Raphael Holca-Lamarre, Mimica uses advanced machine learning to generate accurate process maps from employee clicks and keystrokes. The latest funding arrives as the business scales up its enterprise offerings, including the rollout of its new Miner tool designed to surface automation opportunities across large workforces.
Investor perspective
"We invested in Mimica because the founding team has a terrific combination of deep technical expertise in building AI systems, and a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by an enterprise when managing processes."
