Stevenage-based MicrofluidX has secured £3.3m in a Series A financing round led by Longwall Ventures. The company develops scalable bioreactor technology designed to improve cell and gene therapy manufacturing. Additional participants in the round include UKI2S, Perscitus, J.B. Ugland Venture AS, Puffin Point, and Esco LifeSciences, bringing the firm total funding to £7m. The capital will support ongoing product development and external trials with end users.
