London-based fashion brand ME+EM has secured £55m in a funding round led by Highland Europe, with participation from existing backers including Sir Charles Dunstone CVO and Venrex Investment Management. The capital will be deployed to support international expansion, particularly targeting the US market with new stores in New York and Boston, alongside growth in Australia, the Middle East, Canada, Switzerland, and Hong Kong.
Founded in 2009 by Clare Hornby, the company operates a direct-to-consumer model focused on premium materials and sustainable sourcing. The brand has developed a loyal following among professionals and public figures, reporting strong global revenue growth over the past year.
