MDF Recovery secures £1.7m led by OnePlanetCapital to scale its waste fibre recycling technology.

The funding round was led by OnePlanetCapital to accelerate business growth and international deployment.

£1.7M

MDF Recovery has created a patented industrial recycling process to recover fibre from waste Medium Density Fibreboard, offering a low energy alternative for manufacturers.

MDF Recovery has secured £1.7m in a funding round led by the OnePlanetCapital Climate Change EIS fund.

The company has developed a patented process to recycle Medium Density Fibreboard at scale, addressing a major environmental challenge in the construction and manufacturing sectors where end of life boards are typically incinerated or sent to landfill.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate business growth and deploy the recycling technology to various licensees across the UK and Europe throughout 2023 and 2024.
