Luminance secures £60m Series C funding led by Point72 Private Investments to fuel international growth
Point72 Private Investments led the round to support global expansion and research initiatives.
Luminance provides specialist legal-grade artificial intelligence to automate and streamline contract generation, negotiation and analysis for global enterprises.
Luminance has secured £60m in Series C funding to accelerate its international expansion and product development. Point72 Private Investments led the oversubscribed round, with contributions from Forestay Capital, RPS Ventures, Schroders Capital, March Capital, National Grid Partners and Slaughter and May.
The company will direct the capital towards scaling its presence in the US, APAC and Europe, alongside expanding research and development efforts at its Cambridge hub. This follows a period of substantial growth, driven by rising demand for specialist legal automation software among multinational organisations.
The fresh injection of funds aims to support key hires and new office openings while pushing the platform into adjacent operational areas such as procurement and compliance.
