Lumafield raises $35m in a Series B round led by Spark Capital

Lumafield develops accessible X-ray CT technology that allows engineers to inspect products internally.
Lumafield has secured $35m in a Series B funding round led by Spark Capital. Existing backers including Lux Capital, Kleiner Perkins, DCVC, and Future Shape also participated in the financing. The firm has raised a total of $67.5m to date.
The capital will support the ongoing development of the company's accessible X-ray CT scanner and cloud-based analysis software. Alongside the funding, Victoria Holt and Santo Politi have joined the board of directors.
