Lontra has secured a £12m growth investment from the GWC network, alongside a £7m package of grants and loans from the SYMCA. The capital will support the commercial production of the company's industrial compressors following the appointment of new US distributors.
The firm has engineered an air compressor technology designed to reduce energy consumption by 30% compared to traditional models, whilst offering extended operational lifespans and reduced maintenance requirements. The underlying technology also has significant applications for heat pump systems.
