Lightrock closes Climate Impact Fund at £741m
The inaugural fund closed above its initial target with backing from a diverse group of institutional investors and foundations.

Lightrock has closed its inaugural Climate Impact Fund with €860m in commitments after surpassing its original target. The vehicle drew backing from a broad array of institutional investors, pension funds, and foundations, following a busy period of capital raising for the firm. The fund will target growth-stage businesses in Europe and North America that are developing technologies to accelerate the transition to a net-zero economy.
