Ligentia secures private equity investment from Equistone Partners Europe

Ligentia has secured private equity investment from Equistone Partners Europe to support its ongoing international growth and technology development. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The company intends to use the capital to fund strategic acquisitions and further develop its proprietary customer technology platform, Ligentix.

Founded in 1996, Ligentia manages complex global supply chains and international freight for prominent retailers and consumer brands. The business recorded revenues of approximately £300m in 2020. Founder and chief executive Nick Jones will continue to lead the firm alongside the existing management team, who are also participating in the investment alongside Equistone.
