The funding from the Healthy Ageing Challenge will be used to develop an all-in-one solution for the care worker shortage.
London-based home care platform connecting families with regulated carers and providing management tools for the sector.
London-based home care platform Lifted has secured £1.3m in funding from UK Research and Innovation to develop its new care companion product. The capital will support the creation of the Lifted Complete Care Companion, an all-in-one solution designed to tackle the care worker shortage. The platform aims to extend its current technological capabilities, foster an online carer community, and improve worker retention across the sector.
Founded in 2019, Lifted provides a mobile platform that enables families to arrange and manage regulated home care with round-the-clock support. The company intends to deploy the fresh capital to streamline recruitment processes and enhance carer development tools, addressing systemic high turnover rates caused by poor career prospects.
