Lifebit raises £44m in Series B funding led by Tiger Global Management to scale its global presence

Lifebit builds enterprise data platforms that allow organisations to securely access and analyse sensitive biomedical datasets. Its technology brings researcher computation to where data resides to accelerate drug discovery.
Lifebit has secured a £44m Series B funding round led by Tiger Global Management to scale its global operations and expand its team. The financing also saw participation from existing backers including Eurazeo, Pentech Ventures, and Beacon Capital.
The company provides federated software platforms that allow researchers to analyse sensitive biomedical data securely without moving it. Its clients include public bodies such as Genomics England and major pharmaceutical companies like Boehringer Ingelheim.
With the fresh capital, Lifebit intends to focus on customer success and growing its headcount while extending its international footprint.
