Lendable has secured £210m in a growth private equity round led by Ontario Teachers, valuing the platform at over £3.5bn. The capital will support the business as it develops new products and pursues international expansion.
Founded in 2014, the company applies automation and artificial intelligence to consumer finance, aiming to improve rates and transparency for borrowers. The investment comes through the Teachers Innovation Platform, which targets late stage technology firms.
The fresh funding arrives as Lendable continues to scale its operations within the consumer credit sector. The firm previously established partnerships with global banks and family offices to provide institutional access to the asset class.
