Lein Applied Diagnostics secures funding from Henley Business Angels members to commercialise its optical device.
The investment marks the second time the company has backed by the Henley network.
Lein Applied Diagnostics develops innovative optical measurement devices, including a non-contacting meter designed for corneal thickness assessment in optometry.
Lein Applied Diagnostics has secured fresh capital from two members of Henley Business Angels in its latest funding round. The company previously raised £440k through the network in 2017.
The proceeds will be directed towards the commercialisation of the firm's non-contacting corneal thickness meter for the optometry market. The funding follows Lein's success at the Thames Valley Tech Awards 2018, where it won the Science and Technology award.
