Lawhive is a London-based legaltech startup that uses artificial intelligence to automate routine tasks and improve access to consumer legal services.
London-based legaltech startup Lawhive has secured $40m in a Series A funding round co-led by GV and TQ Ventures. The capital injection also drew participation from Balderton Capital, Jigsaw, Episode 1, and footballers Harry Maguire and Reece James.
The funding will be directed toward launching the company in the United States, targeting a market estimated to be worth $130bn. Lawhive automates routine legal processes via its artificial intelligence assistant, Lawrence, helping high street solicitors and small firms handle compliance and document drafting more efficiently.
The fresh capital follows a £9.5m investment earlier in the year. Lawhive aims to widen access to affordable legal support for individuals and small businesses facing logistical and financial barriers.
