Laennec AI is a medical technology company that develops artificial intelligence driven medical devices for home use and chronic disease management. Based in Cardiff, the firm builds mobile applications that integrate advanced algorithms to allow remote patient monitoring by clinicians.

Laennec AI has secured a pre-seed investment from SFC Capital and OVC Ventures, alongside additional grant backing from the Welsh Government, Innovate UK, and the National Institute for Health Research. The Cardiff-based medical technology firm will use the capital to advance its artificial intelligence powered diagnostic tools designed for home use and remote patient monitoring.

Founded to decentralise medical treatment and improve accessibility, Laennec AI combines mobile applications with advanced algorithms to help patients manage chronic conditions such as asthma and heart failure from home. The fresh funding package brings together private venture backing and public sector support to accelerate product development and scale operations.
