London based education technology company La Salle Education has raised £620k in an EIS funding round. The latest financing brings the company's total SEIS and EIS funding to date to £1.5m.
Participation in the round came from a syndicate of backers, including existing shareholders, London Business Angels, The LBA EIS RoundTable Syndicate Fund, and the London Co-Investment Fund. Anvil Partners previously advised and invested in the company's earlier funding rounds.
The capital will be directed towards completing the final development work on the company's Complete Mathematics platform. La Salle also intends to use the funds to roll out the technology to schools ahead of the upcoming academic year.
