KYND raises Series A follow-on investment from Verisk and BGF to fund international expansion.

KYND

Verisk and BGF have backed cyber risk management provider KYND in its latest funding round.

UndisclosedSeries A

KYND builds cyber risk monitoring technology that provides continuous insights into an organisation's exposure. The platform supports insurers, brokers and private equity firms in navigating threat management.

KYND has secured Series A follow-on funding from data analytics provider Verisk and returning backer BGF. The capital will be deployed to accelerate international expansion and advance the development of its cyber risk technology. This latest injection follows previous backing from growth investor BGF and marks an exit for early backer CPP.

The firm has experienced sustained commercial progress following its initial Series A raise in 2022, expanding its product suite and establishing a US office in Austin, Texas. Management intends to use the fresh funds to scale operations further as cyber threats continue to multiply across corporate networks.

Investor perspective

"KYND has developed an industry-leading platform that provides actionable insights on cyber risk posture. The business has demonstrated impressive growth and this new investment demonstrates our belief in the long-term potential of the company as it continues to scale."
