KYMIRA secures a £500k grant and private investment to expand in the US and launch new devices.

The funding round was backed by Henley Business Angels and Innovate UK.

£500KGrant

KYMIRA develops smart garments embedded with bio-responsive technology that converts light and body heat into infrared wavelengths to aid muscle recovery.

KYMIRA has secured a £500k grant from Innovate UK alongside private backing from members of Henley Business Angels. The funding follows previous investments from the angel network and supports the company as it scales its operations.

The fresh capital will enable KYMIRA to accelerate its international expansion into the United States and roll out a new line of bio-tracking devices. The firm has already made headway in the American market, securing clients among professional sports teams and joining the Comcast NBC Universal SportTech Accelerator programme earlier this year.
