Kota operates a digital platform that centralises and automates employee benefits management for businesses across numerous countries.
Dublin-based HR technology company Kota has secured $14.5m in Series A funding to scale its employee benefits platform. The investment round was led by Eurazeo, with participation from existing backers including EQT Ventures, Northzone, Frontline Ventures, 9Yards Capital, and Plug and Play. The company will direct the capital towards team expansion, onboarding additional insurance partners, and accelerating customer acquisition.
Founded in 2022, Kota connects directly with pension and insurance providers to automate administrative tasks for human resources departments. The platform operates across more than 30 countries and recently received authorisation from the Central Bank of Ireland. Leadership intends to position the business as primary infrastructure for global compensation packages.
From the founder
"As a founder and GM, I experienced how managing benefits through email, between brokers and insurance companies, was completely disconnected and alien from everything else in the business."

Investor perspective
"With Kota's tech-first approach, they've built a robust technical and financial infrastructure: deep integrations with insurers across dozens of countries, visibility across the benefits stack, and a seamless API that allows partners—from HRIS to payroll—to embed benefits natively,"
