Konfir provides a digital platform that offers instant employment and income verification services for businesses. The London-based fintech streamlines onboarding processes for employers, landlords, and lenders.

London-based verification platform Konfir has secured £1.6m in pre-seed funding to expand its engineering capabilities and launch partnerships with background checking providers. The round was led by Triple Point Ventures, with participation from a group of prominent technology angels and executives from Stripe.

The capital will support the company as it introduces automated employment checks to the UK market, replacing traditional manual referencing methods that often cause delays in recruitment and property letting. Konfir is targeting growing demand in the hiring sector following changes to employment policy regarding digital identities.
