Kodypay secures $5m in funding to expand its payment platform.

KodyPay provides a platform as a service offering that modernises commerce operations for large enterprises with physical sites. Its integrated financial infrastructure helps businesses cut costs and improve customer retention.
Kodypay has raised $5m in a fresh funding round completed in the third quarter of 2022. The latest capital injection brings the total funds raised by the payments startup to $10m.
The company was founded by Yao-Yun Chang during his final year of school and has since expanded its offering to include flexible checkout options for hospitality and retail venues. Previous backers include industry executives such as Hank Uberoi and Paul Rippon, alongside corporate partners like Cognition Foundry.
The fresh capital will support the company as it scales its headcount across the UK and develops new product features including embedded finance and enhanced data analytics.
