Kitche secures new funding led by QVentures for its food waste reduction app

Kitche

QVentures has led a new investment round in household food waste application Kitche.

Kitche produces a mobile application designed to help consumers track grocery inventory and minimise household food waste.

Kitche has secured new investment in a round led by QVentures to support its domestic food waste reduction application.

The free application allows users to digitise their grocery receipts, monitor household food inventories, and receive automated reminders alongside recipe suggestions to prevent food spoilage.

QVentures backed the business as part of its focus on early stage technology companies in the United Kingdom addressing sustainability and social impact challenges.

From the founder

"We created Kitche after a conversation with friends in the park about real-life problems with home food waste. We are excited to take Kitche to the next phase with the help of the QVentures investment."
