Maven Capital Partners has led a multi-million investment into Newcastle based fintech specialist Kani Payments. The transaction includes backing from Maven VCTs and NPIF II - Maven Equity Finance, managed as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II. The newly secured capital will be deployed to support platform development, expand the team, and accelerate international growth.
Founded in 2018, Kani has built an automated SaaS platform designed to solve intricate payment reconciliation and reporting challenges for banks, payment providers, and fintechs. The company has processed over EUR 24 billion in transactions and serves clients across five continents, including Paysafe and Transact Payments. FT Partners acted as exclusive strategic and financial advisor to the company on the transaction.
