Guidepost Growth Equity has led a £42m minority investment in Kaizen to accelerate product development and North American expansion.
Kaizen provides regulatory compliance solutions for global financial institutions. The firm specialises in automated reporting quality assurance and compliance technology.
Kaizen has secured £42m in minority funding from Guidepost Growth Equity in its first external investment since inception. The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development, expand operations in North America, and scale go to market initiatives.
Founded in 2013, the firm has built a reputation for regulatory reporting assurance through its ReportShield platform, serving major banks, asset managers, and hedge funds. The transaction follows recent product diversification into shareholding disclosures, trade surveillance, and research management.
Guidepost Growth Equity led the round, with Gene Nogi joining the company board of directors. The investment positions the business for its next phase of international growth.
