Journey Hospitality secures £5m Series A funding from Averroes Capital to scale hotel software platform
Averroes Capital has backed Cheltenham-based hotel technology firm Journey Hospitality in its first external funding raise.
Journey Hospitality provides hotel technology platforms designed to streamline ecommerce for luxury properties. The business works with hundreds of hotel partners around the world to drive online transactions and guest acquisitions.
Journey Hospitality has secured £5m in a Series A funding round led by Averroes Capital. The capital will be deployed to advance product development, increase headcount past 100 staff, and scale its hotel ecommerce technology worldwide.
Established in 2010, the Cheltenham-based firm has experienced rapid software revenue growth over the past year. The business recently launched its onejourney platform to consolidate hotel booking services into a single basket.
Averroes Capital joins as the sole named participant in this round, marking the company's first external growth funding raise since inception.
