The rapid delivery company raised £20.4m from a syndicate including Heartland and Flint Capital to fund further growth.

£20.4MSeries A

Jiffy operates an ultra-fast grocery delivery service in London using local fulfilment centres and employed couriers. The company develops technology for full-stack rapid delivery and offers fresh produce through its own brand.

Jiffy has secured £20.4m in a Series A funding round led by Heartland, with participation from Flint Capital, Playrix, Baring Vostok Capital Partners, and LVL1. The capital will be directed towards expanding retail operations across London and the UK, alongside further investment into the company technology platform.

The fresh injection of capital follows previous seed funding secured since the company launch earlier in the year. Jiffy differentiates its delivery model from competitors by employing its riders directly and utilising electric bikes and mopeds to fulfil orders from local dark stores.

From the founder

"The pandemic certainly accelerated consumer’s needs for super-fast and convenient groceries, something supermarkets just can’t deliver. Jiffy only launched five months ago yet we are hugely proud of the rapid yet sustainable growth we have achieved."
