London-based startup providing institutional-grade portfolio AI and systematic infrastructure for smaller investment firms.
Itoflow has secured $2.5m in pre-seed funding to bring institutional-grade portfolio AI to smaller investment firms. Balderton Capital led the round, with additional participation from angel investor Barney Hussey-Yeo.
The London-based startup was founded in 2026 by Aditya Jha, Abinash Meher, and Dibya Jyoti Roy. The platform aims to compress the complex infrastructure build-out typically required for quantitative trading into accessible AI agents.
The new capital will primarily support team expansion through hiring researchers and engineers, alongside ongoing product development and commercial deployment as the company advances its initial pilots.
From the founder
"Our long-term research goal is to build self-improving investment agents. As an agent supports a mandate over months and years, it should learn which approaches continue to hold up, identify promising new signals and recognise when an apparent edge has decayed. Within the parameters set by each investment team, these agents could become a powerful tool for continuous discovery,"

Co-founder at Itoflow
Investor perspective
"Building Cleo has taught me that financial AI only works when it’s intuitive, trustworthy and keeps people in control. Itoflow gets that. It gives investment teams sophisticated tools without asking them to give up their own process or judgment. I’m excited to back Aditya and the team,"
