Share allotment filed at Companies House

London-based Isembard operates a network of high-precision component manufacturing facilities powered by a proprietary operating system.

Isembard has secured £37.5m in a Series A funding round to scale its network of AI-powered manufacturing facilities across international markets. The investment was led by Union Square Ventures, alongside backing from Tamarack Global, IQ Capital, Notion Capital, and CIV, as well as several prominent angel investors.

The capital will support the opening of 25 new factories by the end of 2026, alongside expansion into Germany, France, and Ukraine. Isembard combines owned and franchise-operated production sites, running them through its proprietary MasonOS software platform to automate scheduling, supply chain management, and quality control.

The funding follows rapidly on the heels of the company seed round, highlighting surging demand for industrial capacity amid a wave of small business retirements in the manufacturing sector. The firm aims to equip experienced operators from military and industrial backgrounds with technology and standards to build high-performance component production units.

From the founder

"Manufacturing is the origin of our security, prosperity and sense of purpose as nations. This Series A enables us to open more factories, invest in MasonOS, support exceptional franchisees and recruit the best engineers across Europe and the United States. Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration."

Investor perspective

"Isembard is redefining the process of owning and running a factory. By embedding deep operational expertise into an agentic OS, MasonOS lowers the barrier to operating high-performance manufacturing businesses and enables a networked, capital-efficient path to scale. At a moment when demand for advanced manufacturing is accelerating and interest in SMB ownership is rising, Isembard brings both forces together. We’re excited to partner with Alexander and his team as they expand access to factory ownership and rebuild industrial capacity across the West."
