Integrated Graphene secures £8m in a Series A+ funding round led by Par Equity and Archangels to scale manufacturing

The Stirling-based materials company will expand its production footprint and workforce after closing its latest investment.

£8.0MSeries A

Stirling-based Integrated Graphene has developed a patented 3D graphene foam material known as Gii. The technology enables higher performing and more sustainable components for global markets.

Integrated Graphene has secured an investment of up to £8m following an oversubscribed Series A+ funding round led by existing backers Par Equity and Archangels. The Stirling-based technology company will direct the capital towards scaling up production of its proprietary Gii foam manufacturing process.

The firm plans to expand its operational footprint in Stirling and increase its headcount to 100 employees over the next three years. The funds will support the deployment of a next-generation pilot line to accelerate commercial delivery of its graphene-enhanced electrodes and supercapacitors.

From the founder

"This investment marks a real tipping point for Integrated Graphene and the manufacturing of our unique 3D Graphene foam in its first two market-ready products. By investing now, we will be ready, this year, to produce millions of units per annum from a new facility in Stirling and to transfer the technology at scale to global partners in the future."
