Inductosense secures investment from Origin Capital and co-investors to support growth
Origin Capital backs Bristol-based non-destructive testing technology developer Inductosense.
Inductosense supplies wireless non-destructive testing technology for monitoring pipe thickness and corrosion in industrial sectors. Its systems use inductive coupling to power and read sensors attached to pipework.
Bristol-based Inductosense has secured investment from Origin Capital and co-investors to support its ongoing commercial expansion. The company provides wireless sensor systems designed to measure pipe thickness and monitor corrosion for the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
The capital arrives as Inductosense runs multiple field trials for its inductive coupling technology, which allows attached sensors to be powered and interrogated remotely. Management intends to use the backing to scale deployments of the hardware in the coming years.
Origin Capital noted the firm possesses innovative technology and a promising development roadmap. The incoming investors join the business as shareholders following a detailed due diligence process.
