IHS Markit acquires regulatory compliance technology provider Cappitech

Cappitech provides regulatory compliance technology, best execution analysis and business intelligence solutions for the financial services sector. Its cloud-based platform enables financial institutions to automate and manage transaction reporting across multiple global jurisdictions.
IHS Markit has completed the acquisition of regulatory compliance technology provider Cappitech to strengthen its global multi-asset class transaction reporting capabilities. The transaction follows a previous partnership in which IHS Markit utilized the Israeli firm's platform for its Securities Financing Transactions Regulation solution.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed in the announcement.
