IEG4 secures minority investment from LDC to fund product development

LDC has taken a minority stake in the software firm to back its organic growth and product development strategy.

IEG4 develops software solutions that enable public sector organisations to streamline digital services and integrate back-office systems. Based in Cheshire, the firm works with local authorities to improve online customer portals.

Software provider IEG4 has secured a minority investment from private equity firm LDC to support its ongoing expansion. The transaction was managed through LDC, with the backing intended to fund new product development and enlarge the company's technical team. Managing Director Paul Tomlinson will continue to lead the business alongside his existing executive team. John Clarke and Jacob Leone from LDC will join the board of directors as part of the agreement.
