i6 Group provides digital fuel management solutions for the aviation sector, connecting stakeholders through a unified cloud platform. Its technology is deployed across hundreds of airports worldwide to improve operational visibility and efficiency.
i6 Group has secured a Series A funding round with backing from a syndicate that includes International Airlines Group, Shell, World Fuel Services and JetBlue Technology Ventures. The investment follows previous funding earlier in the year and will support the company as it scales its operations.
Established in 2013, i6 develops technology designed to replace manual refuelling processes with real-time connectivity and digital tools. Its software is currently utilised by carriers such as British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
The fresh capital will be directed towards accelerating product development and expanding market reach. The firm intends to build upon its international presence across more than 150 airports.
