£12.0MSeries A

HumanForest operates an affordable and environmentally sustainable micro mobility platform offering shared e-bikes in London. The company combines zero emission transport with an advertising technology model to connect brands with urban commuters.

London based e bike operator HumanForest has secured £12m in a Series A funding round to expand its fleet and develop its technology platform. The capital comprises a £5m project finance facility from Triodos Bank UK and a £7m equity component backed by international family offices and strategic investors.

The funding will allow the company to double its London e bike fleet and support its wider expansion across the capital. HumanForest has recently added several new borough licences and aims to build on its momentum as a certified B Corp focused on accessible urban transport.

From the founder

"Sustainable micro-mobility is a force for good in cities but to bring meaningful change it must be affordable and accessible. This funding round has accelerated our expansion, bringing affordable and sustainable mobility to even more Londoners, whilst enhancing our capital efficient approach to growth. Deeply aligned with our commitment to a more sustainable future, Triodos Bank is a natural partner for us and an important part of our expansion into Europe."
