LDC has backed the talent analytics platform to accelerate international growth while delivering an exit for Mercia.
Horsefly provides an artificial intelligence-based talent analytics platform that aggregates real-time labour market data from across the globe. The company enables major international organisations to make data-driven workforce planning and diversity decisions.
Talent analytics platform Horsefly has secured a significant investment from private equity partner LDC to fuel its international expansion. The transaction also provides a successful exit for early backer Mercia after a ten-year partnership.
Based in Merseyside with an American presence, Horsefly offers a software-as-a-service platform that gathers global labour market intelligence for corporate clients. LDC is backing the existing management team to drive organic growth both in the UK and overseas.
As part of the transaction, LDC dealmakers Jacob Leone and Camilla Greenwood will join the company board alongside incoming non-executive chair David Gilbertson. The funding follows a period of rapid revenue growth for the analytics firm.
